Hank and I are not friends this evening.
The ditch at the bottom of the grass field has dried up a lot, so in he goes and ducks under the fence to the side I had a tractor in topping. Five times. Even after I piled a load of branches and logs in there. And every time he gave us the run around. So I put him (and Dan) back on the track as I had somewhere to be this afternoon.
I set up the power on the fence, but have to turn them out then go back next door to turn it on (run out of gate handles) and the little git was immediately fence walking. I went as fast as I could but nope he got out again and gave me a half an hour run around. Then went full terror pony when I caught him, trying to tank off, pulling back, rearing! I think not!
So I tied him to a tree and went next door to turn the power on and the little sucker somehow got loose and gave me another run around with lead rope trailing

I turned him loose and he’s immediately back down the ditch, he must have got a belt at that point as he’s now acting like nothing happened and grazing quite contently!
He’s normally so good, but I reckon he got all his naughty for the year out today, I sincerely hope so anyway.
