I don't think she used to like it Melon.
I might need to buy some fruit, for quality control purposes. Fruit salad for lunch it is then.

And over ripe pears. He won't turn down an unripe one of course but the slurpy ones are on par with melon!

Monkey and I stopped for blackberries on the way home the other night, he seemed surprised by the first one but readily accepted more 😋

For some reason pear seems to send her a bit whacky, could just be coincidence.
I might take her black Berry picking, though she's looking to pick the thistle heads, so fair exchange.

Phew. Completely unbothered by getting his feet done. I was worrying over nothing. When I turned out He then squealed and leapt in the air, carried on squealing, added a few bucks and set off up the field galloping.

Hank and I are not friends this evening.

The ditch at the bottom of the grass field has dried up a lot, so in he goes and ducks under the fence to the side I had a tractor in topping. Five times. Even after I piled a load of branches and logs in there. And every time he gave us the run around. So I put him (and Dan) back on the track as I had somewhere to be this afternoon.

I set up the power on the fence, but have to turn them out then go back next door to turn it on (run out of gate handles) and the little git was immediately fence walking. I went as fast as I could but nope he got out again and gave me a half an hour run around. Then went full terror pony when I caught him, trying to tank off, pulling back, rearing! I think not!

So I tied him to a tree and went next door to turn the power on and the little sucker somehow got loose and gave me another run around with lead rope trailing 🤬 I turned him loose and he’s immediately back down the ditch, he must have got a belt at that point as he’s now acting like nothing happened and grazing quite contently!

He’s normally so good, but I reckon he got all his naughty for the year out today, I sincerely hope so anyway.

furious with workmen. we had work done in the house this week, kept telling them we have cats, do not leave doors open. So we had to guard the doors as they kept doing it. went up by chance to the far room where they were working, left both bloody windows open! So trying to find all our cats as if the rommies got out they are toast. what is it with folks i explained they are indoor semi ferals and don't go out as they are timid and would bolt. Haven't seen Suki or Foxy so far.

And they are the most timid and scared, it has taken years for Suki to be stroked, if they are out they will never come back they will just bolt. Most of the others would come back, but they have never been outdoors. We kept them as indoor cats after Lucy was killed on the lane, and some of the are too nervous or scatty to be trusted. Peter would be ok, he is a lazy big lump. But the others are not as good despite living with us for years.

We had this problem at work too, at a vets. We have a strict closed door and window policy at all times as you just don't know if something will get loose somehow. It was very frustrating!
