I used my friends similar thing yesterday and it worked well, I've been debating on a solar one for when I do my camping rides but they are pretty expensive.

I bought one from Sainsbury's/tk maxx which looks smaller and lighter than that for £15. It has a double speed charge and does 2 full charges. My only annoyance with it, is it comes with a cute little cable which attaches to itself for storage, but it's for android phones, not iPhones (which it's primarily marketed for on the packaging!)

It looks like it would probably detach from the phone if you fell off.

Just curious though?? Who is out longer for a ride then the charge on the phone???

Me Got a camera and navigation on my phone, drains the battery a lot. Mostly it's just for emergencies though.
