Hi this is a long shot but there maybe someone local in Surrey who has heard this story and could perhaps fill me in on some more details.
I have been told about a 13year old shire mare in surrey who apparently is fit and well but owner is going to have pts. A friend of the owner has asked me to go and see the mare as owner will let me have her if I want her. I cannot make direct contact with owner. Seems peculiar set up to me but I am meeting up with the friend and going with her to the farm to see the mare and hopefully the owner (who sounds like a nut!).
the mare sounds lovely and no reason to pts so Im intent on going and quite willing to give her a home. Just wondering if any Surrey people have heard of anything on the grapevine to give me a heads up into what I might be walking into.
