Anyone fancy this?

Would rather do it on my own horse - we're not too far from there so I might check out some local horsey b&b's. Could probs do it for a heck of a lot less than 1250. Although it does look fab. I fancy the full coast to coast tho - which is easier up here in the narrow part of the country x

Where are you? I know there is a coast to coast in the Highlands which also looks amazing, but again its on their own ponies, although, as you say, you can probably arrange it for yourself. I don't know how you get your gear from stopover to stopover though.

The Cumbrian ride does look fab, but like you I'd want to do it on my own horse. I don't think I'd have a problem riding 6 hours a day, although I've never tried it so could be wrong!

I'm in NE England. Max is stabled in Durham near Tow Law. I've done a wee bit of research since looking at this thread and quite fancy
St Bees - Keswick
Keswick - Appleby
Appleby - Barnard Castle
Barnard Castle - home
Home - Sunderland / Hartlepool
Now I just need to find horsey b and b's in all these places.

Ohhh yes - and for Max to go forward on his own :( xxx
