I'm looking at horses for adoption as well, and I found this little chap at the Blue Cross sanctuary in Burford, Oxfordshire, only a couple of hours away from me. Get ready to say Aaaaahhh....

He's only 2 weeks old so would not be with me until next Spring, but I have an enormous application process to undergo first! I spoke to the sanctuary today and the horse homing specialist seemed to feel that the absence of youngsters in our field wouldn't be a problem as long as he was homed with a kind gelding and kept away from mares (because he'll be gelded just before he comes).
They want to know all about me, but before making any decisions I would want to know all about him, meet him, and most importantly meet his mum, as he has no recorded breeding.
I'm still going to look at that filly, and possibly also this little chap if he is still available:

Will keep you all posted!
