Another ouchy

I have been having really sharp pain in my ankle for a couple of months now. It is the one I broke five years ago.

The pain has been getting worse it what I call sharp pain not the dull ache I normally have in it. It got so bad I was wincing when just walking.

I went to our med centre who referred my to physio he was not happy with what I was explaining and sent me for an X-ray.

Results in I have swelling and bone fragment lose in the joint.

Now have to have an mri and see an Orthopedic

Oh nooo, it’s galling when you have things like that! Really good that they’ve got you referred pretty quickly though, have they suggested much by way of treatment to get you feeling more comfortable?

One of the few things the RAF are good at. In with the SMO tomorrow to arrange the mri.

My arthritis pain relief should cover it off but it isn’t just strapped up to reduce the swelling

Not nice. I hope they can get it sorted soon. This is not a good time of year to have a dodgy ankle. Take care.
