Another dumb dressage question!

Well 2 actually...

1. Can Mrs P compete at dressage without a noseband at all?

2. If the answer to 1) is 'no', can she wear a cavesson with a flash loop but without a flash?

Any advice gratefully received!

I don't know if you can compete nosebandless .... but certainly in a caveson minus flash but with the flash loop (presuming you mean the one attacted to the noseband) is fine.

check on the BD website under the rules section , off top of my head i think you do have to have a nose band

You have to have a noseband on, but you're fine with a cavesson (with or without flash loop) and could put it as loose as you like ...

My craptop hangs up when I try to get on the BD Website Maybe it's karma - it's telling me don't do dressage, you know you're rubbish at it! I did manage to get on a couple of sites last night that suggested that a noseband of some sort was obligatory. Shame, I think P looks nice without

Ooooh fab! I might have my mad carrots xc tops soon too so me and Mrs P will both have some new togs to show off
