Most the time he stays put where I leave him in the evenings

The mud stockings might tell you that last night was not one of those nights!!

Caught a quick glimpse into the fields as I cycled to the yard this morning and thought that looks like an Ale bottom in the wrong place! It was! Not only was he out with the three others looning about but the whole front of his fence was dragged halfway across the field. He'd obviously been out most the night (lack of poos) and when I got there he decided he'd had enough of the others! Pulled faces and followed me quietly back into his field through the broken fencing and waited for his hay. Glad no one was injured, ale appears quite low down in the pecking order out of the 4 of them ranking just above the shetland so they seem to have sorted that out themselves.

Anyway he munched his hay and then stood snoozing the night off in the sun. I spent a very muddy 1.5 hours tying bits of fence together and slipping in the mud and turned up to uni rather late and bedraggled!! Just glad it was a lovely sunny morning though!
