Advice Needed;- Where do i find

small yards, fields with stables etc etc

i really fancy taking on small yard or field with stables just for mine and my sisters, but never see any advertised in our area, how do you go about finding these places??
any tips,

ps. fulwood, grimsargh, longridge areas of preston!!

Local papers, horse and hound, other horsey websites/mags, you could also put an ad up your self in the above

Maybe look through Yellow Pages and ring local farmers, they may have some spare fields or might know of somebody who has.
I think you'll be lucky to find a ready made set-up, I think you may have to be prepared to do some work (put up stables, fencing etc) to get what you want.

I would write down exactly what you need and exactly what you would like before you start looking. ie. with summer coming, would a field with a field shelter suffice, or do you really need the whole kit and caboodle.

Are there no nice livery yards around that can provide what you want?
