Oh i really wish the forecasters would give better predictions.
One says 6° lows, the other is forecasting -0°.
I want to get chunky trimmed, he hasnt been done since July, which is really good going. He got mega smelly feet a month ago and the frog grooves were black with thrush. Hes suddenly shed his frogs and some sole recently. The shed seems to have stopped the smelly thrush too. Hes now obviously walking on rims as a result so desperately needs a trim. When he was done in january this year it was mega frosty and he was really lame after the trim. Could barely put one foot in front of the other. So i want to avoid a trim when we get minus temps. One forecast is showing minus from this weekend.
He looks a bit lamer so i think its where the frogs and sole have dropped out so hes not getting the proper support.
Guess I'll see what date the farrier offers. But i dont want to mess him around cancelling.
