Had anyone used equioxx? (I could have that spelled wrong). It is an anti inflammatory that shouldn’t flare up ulcers. The vet said it used the be available iv but was very expensive and only really used for one iv with an acute bad injury. They have now produced it in tablet form for longer term use. Vet hasn’t used it (the tablet version) yet so got it specially for Robin and will now stock for horses with issues like Robin. It is 1 pill a day in the feed which is fab. It has a very narrow weight margin tho as only suitable for 450-600 kg. Robin is around 650 but we decided worth trying it.

I’ve not heard of many people here using it but it’s very popular in the states and everyone I’ve spoken to said it’s very effective.

I think it has just been available for under a year as a tablet. It seems very odd that one little tablet is all he needs but I’m not complaining either!
