100g turnout rug?

anyone have one of those of ebay? just wondered what they fit like etc? just after a spare 100g turnout for Moet for the winter.

I generally buy second hand rugs, got a shires tempest 100g for Major as a spare a few weeks ago, but struggling to find a 6ft3 one for Moet. Then found a 6ft3 Weatherbeeta 100g but in Weatherbeeta she needs a 6ft6!
 
No, I looked at the thicker ones actually earlier in the year for Tobes and wondered. Feedback looked good.

Let us know if you do get one.
 
No but at that price for a spare i would chance it.

I have an Amigo no fill and the Shires Tempest 100g.
 
I can't see the link as in work but pretty sure this is what I have for Ginger as I really struggled to get a 100g 6'3 for him. If it is the same one is a good rug nice fit on Ginger and is wearing well.
 
Its in Bucks, so just over the border, about 25 min from my yard. Its a tack shop which buys out other tack shops when they shut down so get stuff cheap. I go there every few weeks and pick up a few bargains. I got 4 fleeces and 4 middleweight turnouts for a total of £160 the other week, bargain!!

If its localish to you its well worth a visit, stock is always changing and you can always pick up a handy bargain.

Yes, I bought one 6 weeks ago, and I really like it. It was a replacement for a weatherbeeta landa that had been trashed beyond repair. I bought this one, from the same seller:

The only thing I don't like about it is the way the neck cover fastens, but as you are looking at one without it doesn't matter.

It fits my chunky IDxTB nicely but is not as spacious as a weatherbeeta.
 
That's fab thanks! Moët normally wears 6ft6 in amigo rugs, I would have bought her a 6ft6 in Weatherbeeta, do you think 6ft6 in this one would be fine?

How 'deep' are they? Worried it might be a Mini skirt type on Moët!
