Bird Flu restrictions

This is scaffold mesh, it’s like a loose weave fabric. I got 3x20 meters delivered next day from Amazon for £28. It’s light enough to do that with, my ridge line is just a bit of baler twine from a tree to the coop.
is it waterproof to stop the droppings coming through

Gosh so much to learn.

@Jessey you are a miracle of industry and ingenuity as always.

@diplomaticandtactful what is heras, please?

And @Sparky Lily I feel for you!
metal fencing panels usually used on building sites. We found if we turned them upside down with heavy top on the ground it keeps out foxes and badgers as we lost two flocks to them, despite electric fencing being up

I feel your pain @Sparky Lily my guineas are never inside, they even roost out in the trees so I’m going to be dealing with some very unhappy birds when I finally catch them ?
Good luck with catching them. I had the devil of a job rounding up my sister-in-law’s bantams when they flew up into the trees. Not much easier when they were on the ground. At least with my hens, all I need to do is appear with some cucumber or grapes and there will be a stampede!

Moving day today. Two chicken houses dismantled and removed from the chicken shed. Two chicken houses rebuilt in the barn. Food and water added. 14 chickens rounded up and put in barn. Barn door closed to keep chickens in and ponies out. Now for a much needed cuppa! (Photo shows one of the houses and 12 of the chickens. Barbie and Ngaio were exploring the other house.)

THANK YOU!

I have wondered for years what those things are called and where I could buy some.

I bet I could make a round pen out of them!

Round pen yes. I borrowed some back 10 years ago from my local builder to make a round pen when i was training floss on the sheep.

Ive seen them on facebook for sale as 2nds before now.
