As in title, what's your favourite coat shine? Need to get my lot nice and clean and sparkly now the nicer weather is hopefully round the corner. x

a splash of Dettol in warm water and wipe over , lifts dust, grease and leaves a shine. If we resort to a retail product then we use Canter.

Never thought about using this on a horse - I give our big fluffy white pyrepoo dog a hot towel bath with dettol (following a tip from a Chow breeder) and it works wonders. Will have to try it on Raf.

Absorbine showsheen for shows but at home 30 minutes grooming and strapping everyday and hot clothing twice a week

I just feed linseed, I rarely do more than flick mine over as I just dont need to as they are already gleaming, I did put more effort in when I was showing, I found microfibre cloths really good for polishing coats.

Mine are shedding like mad! Every time I think I've got somewhere more hair falls out:D I went to a RC event loading he looked pristine then unloading there was bits of hair all over, TBH think his shedding more my issue but he just didn't look his shiny self :-( x

Take a clean body brush with you to remove the hair that has shed then spray some showsheen onto a sponge and wipe down the whole body, this will wick away any lose hairs and encourage the rest to lie flat.

I think some just shine and some need work.
I am the same as @Jessey I just flick a brush over.
She lives out unrugged so I just clean where the tack goes.

If anything I spent an hour on her feathers once a week.
