On an island
Don't need to be horsey! lol. Another random thread, but I've just had two (yes TWO) tuna baps (brown) with lettuce, and I am HAPPY! MMmmmmm. Washed down with proper coke too not that diet rubbish..........ha.
Last night as I sat up in my little bed in the caravan reading my Frankenstein novel (kindly given to me by Jovi!!!) I could honestly say I felt super-content. I could hear the girls pulling their nets - and I could also hear some of the last late-night curlew builders on their way (hopefully) to bedand you know, quite frankly I thought, "if this is it, then its as good as it gets". Well, what with that coupled with the thoughts of tonights evening meal (Mr T's spicy chicken wraps!!!!!) life does not get better..............
Oh, and have to say, went home at luncheon to see the girls and Storm came to see what I had on offer (nothing as it happens!) but she wanted a quick scratch and I could really enjoy her horsey smell. Sounds daft but when you've been away from them for a while you really notice their yummy smell again don't you??????!
So, what favourite things do you have atm? Doesn't have to be horsey?

I love having my lunch (usually and sandwich) and my flask of hot sweet tea in my car at my field on my own after I have been working hard or been on a long ride. Just to relax and munch -heaven.
I too love the smell of the ponio, especially when they are all hot and sweaty and that aroma suddenly hits your nostrils, I mssied this for quite a few months and had forgotton all about it till I got a whiff the other day
I also love thursdays at 2.30pm cos that is when my weekend starts
Loads and loads of other things I love, poo picking in the sunshine with some good music plugged into my ear holes, trying to think of none horsey things but most of my loves are connected to my beast!

Glad you're enjoying the book!

I love taking Jasper to the woods nearby in the sunshine and just walking around for hours, it's so pretty up there whatever the season.

I love the pony smell too, I miss just hanging out on the yard watching horses graze. Even miss the smell of :poop: :giggle:

Can't wait for the summer, chilling out in the garden with a good book, glass of wine and a BBQ. Roll on summer!

I'm totally addicted to stir steamed tandoori chicken and greens with a couple of dollops of fat free natural yoghurt stirred through at the end. I eat it whilst watching Neighbours on Demand 5!

I'm also addicted to sniffing Joy's neck and playing Bejewelled on my phone.

Lastly I'm trying to set up a healthy addiction of religiously doing the Couch to 5K programme. Here's hoping.

One of my fav things at the moment is going up the field in the morning before work, rushing around getting all the jobs done, then here is the good bit, having a cuppa and a ciggie, watching the horses and soaking up the peace and quiet.
Bliss  sets me up for the day.

Sitting on my bridge listening to the woodpecker and watching the moor hens, with maya in the background munching. The sun is going down and it is warm though the heat is slowly dissipating to make way for the cool night air. I have a bottle of corona in my hand. I don't want it to end!

These type of evenings are just the best ..... Summer is most certainly on its way

Spending time with these two hooligans

my fave thing today was spending the evening at the yard on my own whilst the sun was going down, the herd eating their haynets, the doggies following me around the paddock whilst i dismantled the old electric fencing, the owls were calling, it was just lovely :)

then got home and had a cold can of apple tango! lush! (we rarely have fizzy pop in the house but hubby away so i treated myself!)

Loads of simply things make me smile but today after riding. I walked chanter back to his field in the semi darkness kissed his nose and gave him his treats and said my normal thank you's before walking back to an empty yard to sweep up and clean my tack. No one around bliss.

Got home to salmon for dinner and my lovely 3 dogs waiting for me.

Lovely

Listening to the birds, when I got up this morning the blackbirds were singing their tiny little hearts out. We also had a flock of a different type of bird in one of the trees, they were chattering really loudly but I couldn't make out what they were.

Velvety pony noses, I love it when the ponies lift their noses up to my face for a cuddle.

Sunday afternoon, after a fantastic ride on Rusty - napping in the sun against a pile of hay with the sounds of him munching away right beside me.... blissfull.

I love dogs! Dogs that come into work, Bf's dogs, dogs in the street or the park, down the yard, sometimes I even just find myself looking at dog pics online  Think they're so cute and fun, sadly I've never owned a dog

And also I crave apple pie and have been known to have a cheeky slice for breakfast. And I love the tv show scrubs.

Hehehe, have enjoyed reading your replies! I have another to add to my list; eating home-made corned beef pie (Mr T's own version) for lunch then watching the girls all afternoon from the comfort of the settee in the caravan.......(life in the fast lane eh?!)

Trewsers, I love your threads!

So many things I love....off this weekend with best mate to Southwold, full of character and bracing sea air, so that's a fave.

Wednesday night blues jam - great fun and last night was just full of nutty people (but in a good way) so I spent most of the night laughing.

Loads of stuff really...a luvvery roast dinner, walking the dogs, riding lessons, getting a little kiss from Mouse (the Bay mare) last week, sunshine, things coming into flower, I could go on (and usually do :redcarded:)

Oh, and listening to the boy play the guitar just like Clapton. Bliss.

Ah, it is your lad that is the guitar player? (Seem to remember a thread about a gig?) One of my brothers used to play - well, still does, but he lives in Scotland so I don't hear him play much these days. Great stuff!!

Yes, that's my boy. He wants to make his living out of music, and spends hours and hours playing and perfecting. Me and the old man are not musical at all, OH can't even play the spoons, and I have been know to empty a room at a party when I decided to treat them to singing! Don't know where he gets it from. Must ask the milkman if he's musical...

I know it's shallow and shameful and awful after all your lovely replies about woodpeckers and faithful hounds but......

I love cake :( Especially cupcakes. Or chocolate fudge cake with custard. Or madeira cake. Or scones with peanut butter. Are those cakes? I don't eat them very often but.....good grief I love cake :(

Lots of things can make me happy, but recently I love sitting up late at night on my couch with a mug of hot chocolate either playing guitar or listening to music on the stereo. Don't have to think, or do, or interact, or concentrate. Just be.

I think my perfect moment could be sitting out in the sunshine watching the horses graze, with some good music playing and a cake buffet. I will of course have lost half my body weight and just run 10 miles to be able to eat this cake. But when I do, it will be amazing.
