Hiya,

I have recently brought a new airowear body protector, but i have found that it is quite restricting to ride in and bulky - it was properly fitted & everything but it still feels a little bulky.

My friend has got a lightweight racing type body protector which i think will be a lot better for what i need.

But i dont know where i could sell my airowear body protector in order to buy the lightweight one.

Please can someone give me some advice on where i could sell it, not ebay as i dont understand it!

Thanks:)

I have an airowear and I felt the same as you to start with, but after wearing it a few times it started to mould to me and I now hardly feel that I have it on. Maybe it will improve after a few wears?

If anyone could recommend one that is good for ... how shall I say it.... rather voluptuous ladies with big boobies I would be eternally grateful ... so would the twins ;)

I fit into that category , and also have an airowear - they go up to a mahoosive chest size. It is comfy enough, but quite bulky, so makes me look even bigger . The benefit (as well as the injury-prevention bit) is that the boobies are well strapped down - no bouncing!!

I was recommended the aerowear outlyne too. Does fit well and strap 'em down, even if a little bukly:D:D. Maybe, they're all a little bulky??

As I'm a novice wuss, I wear mine for everything - even a walk down the road (obviously when on horse-back, not on foot:p).

My dilemna is as I start to need a warmer coat, the body protector wont go over the top, so I'll need to wear it underneath. This will mean buying a ridiculously large coat and starting to resemble a michelin man, with little legs:eek::eek: What do other wear in the winter??

Hahaha, you just described me in the winter  :D
I have a rodney powell which I dont particularly like as I hate the zip (hard to get it on) and it just doesnt feel comfy and I get backache. It probably is better for the bigger bust though. But cos of the BP i have to get a bigger coat, so I look rather silly because I cant get a coat under the BP, it has to go over. Same problem with thick fleeces . About all that goes under it comfortably is a t-shirt. I do manage to get a hoodie under it but It makes the BP tight & uncomfortable & I feel squashed in (bearing in mind the BP has been fitted & thats still after adjusting it to give more room), the next BP size up would be too big. I like the idea of the MH protective coat but I still wouldnt feel safe without a BP. Im guessing a velcro one would be better though as you can adjust it easier to go over a coat instead? Eek, dilemma isn't it!

Boobies! Please I thought this was a thread about body protectors, quick nurse the screens:p
More seriously we don't have to bring up the beta level of protection here do we? I love/hate my body protector, i love it when I fall off, I hate it cos it makes me roast and look like a member of a SWAT team:)

Well ladies, I wish I had your problem! I've got one that's suitable for an ironing board ... Oh, to have a cleavage ....

Was it an Outlyne? They are shaped for women and I find mine great. Give it a few goes if you are not use to riding with one its surprising how quickly you adapt.
