Sharer ad what do you think??

if its hacking only and knowing you dont have a school, i cant see jumping coming into it!

dont put to much in the add, fitness routine etc is the stuff for a fone call.

have a look through the wanted ads mate, you may trip upon someone advertising for wanted horse.

I know I'm over-reacting and being a worrywart again aren't I

Good idea about the wanted ads,will check them out.

Here is the provisional draught of the ad,what do we think??

Sharer wanted for 16.2 mare nr Exeter,Devon

Sharer wanted for 16.2 mare.9 years old.
Confident and capeable rider required as although very safe can be foreward going.
Opportunity to ride 2 or 3 times a week,including weekends.Short rides at present to build up fitness level as only recently brought back into work.
Would need to be confident doing roadwork as hacking only (no school)
Lovely mare,easy to do in all way's.
No costs involved,but would appreciate some help with chores (turnout,mucking out etc) if possible,but can be flexible on this.
Own transport essential as although only 6 miles from Exeter,is not on a bus route.

You mention "this type of horse" and people not expecting to jump her type, but in the advert you don't mention the type of horse she is at all. Maybe adding that in will save you lots of calls from people who are looking for a different type ?

When I was looking for a share horse before I got my boys I found it very helpful to either be told the horse's breed/type in the advert or - better - see a picture.

Even if people are "only" looking to share, not buy, they still want to know what type if not breed they're phoning up about I think. It potentially stops lots of time-wasting both for you and interested parties.

I was going to put a picture on a couple of the sites that allow it,and on one of them (haven't checked others out yet) the ad would be in the clydesdale horse section,but yeh not a problem to put it in the ad.
