The vet was here to do Hanks teeth and jab so I had him take a quick look at jess as she's been off for a few weeks and it got worse on Sunday, this week she's fine in front on hoof testers and trot up, woo hoo but left hind she's sensitive in the medial heel and slightly lame, suspected abscess poor old girl

What an abscess in this weather? What a nightmare!

When I got some training from an ep at the end of March we saw a bruise in the wall of that foot so perhaps its deveoped from there. She's growing out 2 in each front foot currently but those mostly resolved without issue. Perhaps its the cushings but I might review her diet again, farrier is here Friday so I'll see what he thinks too.
