Once a saddle has been made, is there anyway of having the stirrup bars moved further back, or changed for longer ones so the stirrups themselves can be put further back?

Not really, each tree is designed to have a specific style of bar.

You'd have to do some major surgery to the saddle.

Will add a dressage saddle to the shopping list then.

I've managed to kind of sort it. It's one of those where the stirrup bars are quite far forwards, so a hairtie wrapped around the bar and a couple of hair pins through is making the stirrup leather stay at the other end of the bar, so I can sit in a semi better position.

I'm resourceful me :p
