sore heel

Hi

Can anyone help and advise me please i had the farrier out this morning and he noticed that my mare had a sore heel on the back left foot, i have put purple spray on it and she does not seem lame on it so what else do i need to do and if not lame can i still ride ??

It depends whats caused it really, so long as its not causing any discomfort you should be fine to ride just be sure to keep it clean and dry if possible and protect it

Could be a spot of mud fever, if they are not lame and there's no infection I'd be happy to ride. just keep an eye on it and use more spray if needs be.
