How do you post bareback Jane? I rode a new horse bareback today - whose trot is somewhat bouncier than my old share but it didnt enter my head to rise to it.

Well, how I do it is grip with my knees a little tighter than usual and then just rise as if I was in a saddle. I can't get too far up but if he's trotting fast or big (his trot is normally low and smooth) it's easier than sitting. But very tiring on the quadriceps!

@Wally , that is the grooviest arm sticking out of that Shetland's a*se. Awesome!
