hi, guys, i was just wondering how much you all pay for a private lesson on your own horse im in London Bromley thank you Tia and Misty xx
video of my horse

I’m in Lancashire and pay £25.00 per hour which includes travel as it takes her 40 minutes to get to me. A friend on the same yard uses a different instructor and she pay £40 per hour. Both instructors are qualified but specialise in different things.

I used to pay £40/hr and had to take my horse to him, but it was a bit specialist.

Locally we have AI's who charge from £10-£30 for general lessons, more for good competitors teaching dressage or jumping.

I pay my RI £30 for a 45 minute session when I am riding. For the same price she will ride Ziggy for an hour for me.

I think she's an absolute bargain for Surrey!

Really depends on what you want to be honest. More important to me is the instructor and I get on and I benefit/ enjoy it.
Current one is £20 as and when and previous one was £45.

£20 with the instructor/livery on the yard. Anything up to £40 locally depending on the instructor and whether you travel to them or vice versa.

The woman I want to take western
Dressage lessons from this spring
Is $35 for a half hour or $45 for an hour

I think it's the same if she comes HERE for my horse or I go there and take a lesson on a school HORSE.

Does anyone have to pay a ring fee if an outside trainer comes?

If you use someone other than the one
VIRGINIA uses she charges a 10.00 ring
Fee.

Any lessons I do will be in my ring here because it does not matter what a can do in her ring.

Mine is £25 for 45 minutes using our school - I would expect to pay a bit more if it was someone else school. That's for a one to one - a shared lesson would be a bit less.

I pay £45 for an hour or £60 for an hour and a half with one trainer.

I pay £60 for an hour with another.

Both are worth their fee, IMHO.

My yard was going to charge for school use if I had an instructor visit, despite there not being anyone else available.
Solution, I take them outside the school.

I'm in Surrey too (hi!) and my RI charges £30 for an hour on my share horse. Definitely a bargain compared to RS in Surrey

In Berkshire and pay £25 for a half hour private jump lesson (or £30 for a shared with my friend for an hour). £25 for flatwork from someone with no qualifications other than the fact she is brilliant. I used to use a guy who was £35 for an hour. Can be anything up to about £60 for 45 mins depending on who its with around here. I go to them.
