After having a nasty fall July last year (skip lorry load wasn't tied down and chain caught the horses bum) I have had serious back pain and after a good 9 months begging and pleading I finally got to have an MRI and see the consultant which have said fluid in the spinal cord, I need to have dye put in my back to see the amount of damage done....

Doctors have told me it will be to dangerous to jump again and sadly have had to give up my loan pony as when the pain increased I wasn't able to do her justice.

My doctor has now said that ill have to re learn how to ride and take precaution, thinking about this what would my best route be,

Ask at my local RDA with writing from my doctor/consultant

Or

A mechanical horse to see if my balance and core structure is up to pressures and strains you do when you ride.

Please help

THANKS before hand :)

Crikey that accident sounds very nasty,

Sorry to hear about the damage they have found, I hope things improve for you.

I hope you have sued the hell out of the skip firm :stomp:

I think you have to wait and see what exactly is wrong and what the prognosis is. No one would be able to advise you on the basis of the information you have given here. Some of it doesn't make sense without a clear idea of what is wrong.

I think you will just have to be patient before you make any decisions.
