Grazing Muzzles Rubs?

I have use sheepskin on my mare grazing muzzle and she is still get some bad rubs on her nose and under her chin. For all those grazing muzzles users, your best ideas/suggestions to prevent rubs and sores?

Hi. You can get a hold of skin hardener at most tack shops and that might help in the longer term.

Is your horse wearing it for long periods? It might be that if you can you take it off and either bring her in or put her on strip grazing so she gets a break from it. I'd also triple check that it's fitted properly; it can take a while to get right. You might also find that a different muzzle is the answer! Some do seem to rub more than others.
