Dublin Renegades Boots?

I have hypermobility which means my joints are too stretchy.
Am having a lot of probs with it at the mo as have floppy ankles. I am wearing neoprene ankle supports which do help but I will take any extra help I can get.
Although I adore my ariats I am considering trying Dublin Renegades as they go higher up past ankle height.
Has anyone tried them? Or any other recommendations please? I don't like full length boots so looking for a bit of a short boot but with good support.

PS Think I will feel like a biker chick in the Renegades!

I love them - I haven't actually bought a pair, but I did try some on in the tack shop last week. Gorgeous but the pair they had were a little tight on me. Right up over the ankle and very firm support, so I would have thought they would really help you. I could have ordered my size in, but all the lacing up actually put me off a bit, I am a very lazy dresser these days!
