Best shampoo for making a horse white again?!!

Hi,

my coloured mare managed to roll in mud with no rug on What is the best way of removing stains?? Is she gonna freeze if i bathe her with warm water, is there any other way of getting the stains out? New to this as only ever had bay horses lol. Help!!!!

a lady at my old yard used to use colgate toothpaste on her grey mare leav it on for a bit then waash it off with warm water? , never tried it myself but i think it worked

lol! Only trouble is shes 16.2hh and cobby and quite a bit of white (all of which is now brown), might have to take out shares in colgate! Wierd though, was it the teeth whitening variety?!!!
