Have you got holes in that strap for cinch? That's my other alternative, burn in some holes to use a cinch.
I sometimes find the rings get under my leg of going downhill.

Yep, the latigos have holes in both sides and a buckle either side so it adjusts quite well. My old BB pad the stirrup rings were right under my knees, but these didn't interfere at all which is good

Just bought a lami cell cinch which seems rather stiff to me.
Will see if she likes it, but probably wouldn't want to use with a saddle just doesn't appear to mould?
