I'm on the team!!!

But just as a runner

We went to watch then at Rodbaston last year, supporting the two teams our local RC had entered. Really wanted to get involved so I volunteered to be a team runner. We had our first practise sesh thus arvo.... great fun but I definitely need to get fitter in the next two months!!! Also need to swat up on the rules!!

Jill is hoping her and Albi will be picked for one of this year's teams.

Just a runner, pish, you'll be super fit, get to know everyone, know all the rules, help all those riders achieve their dreams, theres no just about that and by next year you'll be out there with your girl cleaning the floor with the competition

Oh I used to do this up until I was about 50! Loved it and did it all on my lovely coloured cob mare..... I think I was the oldest rider doing it then in our area. It was like reliving my childhood, definitely give it a go if you get the chance, the best fun ever.

I did mounted games at my RS. I managed to win walk, trot, canter, run (and I did it on a Shire, not a whizzy pony)
