Woke up to the Mouseman on Facebook this morning :D Helping someone train for her next Galop exam.
I can't believe he is looking so trim! I had lost so much weight when I saw him in November but he's shed even more since then - very impressed! He's been getting a lot of work over the last couple of months because sadly they lost two of their small ponies in December and good old Mouse stepped up to the plate. I don't know how he feels about the extra workload but it's definitely good for the waistline!

He's looking super Joosie and I love that last pic, almost looks like he's so proud of himself for being such a little superstar, I bet his riders adore him.

He really has lost the 'cuddly mouse' look hasn't he - more the little sporty pony look to him now. Looks very well indeed, obviously in very capable hands. :)

Oh yes, he has quite the fan club  The instructors love him too because they can put absolutely anyone on him that's light enough, he's so safe and steady with the novices and younger kids but the more capable riders are never bored because of his cheeky streak. He has always known when to behave and when it's ok to play the fool :p My friend recently moved there on livery and says he is usually having cuddles with someone when she sees him :D

Looking good. That's two riders isn't it or were my eyes lying. I was trying to nose at those jodphurs because I love a contrast leg.
What the galop exam? Sort of our pony club levels?

Haha yes you're right it is two riders - only one of them was training for her exam though - the other just wanted a ride on the boy :p
The Galops are a series of horse care, theory and riding exams (1 to 7, 7 being the most advanced). They're essential if you want to compete, you need your Galop 4 to do club-level competitions and your Galop 7 to do amateur. But most people who ride at riding schools take them anyway, and I think it's nice for them to have things to work towards when they don't have the freedom of having their own horse.
