Nothing like there foot of rain but 2-3 inches and real slight tornado possibility.

I have had a wild hair to put more flowers by some other cavaletti
So its my birthday and I went a bit plant crazy:eek::rolleyes:

Thank god for Walmart being open 24 hrs

I was there not long after daylight got some awewsome sunflower pots on clearance
and some zinnia in a pot in a fancly little holder and some pre potted pots of kind of
hanging over flowers that drape the pots -- not plants ive seen in 6 packs

and a bunch of 6 packs of red and white and pink begonia and blue ageratum and some clearance red geranium

Got home and put out the potted ones ready to go and potted up quite a bit of the other plants
before it started to rain!!!:D:D:D;);):):):)

The ones I potted up will take a bit to fill in but eventylly they will be nice and full too..

Tomorrow is supposed to be a lovely day to play.
I'm so thrilled that Libby is not upset by the flags and things
Rebecca and I seem to have a lot of the same thoughts on riding so its going to be
fun to ride and play with her.

I'm trying pots at the tree cavaletti both ways inside and outside
I may have to put flags near the outside ones to that horses are one side or the other and not on top of the pots

OK ride Fun play..

I went down toward trail I had issue on
Sonny clearly has an issue that way
HE would go to the left but not the right.
I got a bit to the right and chose to stop there for now.

He is such a good boy hanging out waiting.

The play was fun Libby went thru the tires an had no issue at all with
the flapping flags= it was a bit more windy today.

We will play again in a couple of days and she will ride her next time
over the obstacles.

Andi Was looking at Libby when Rebecca was bringing her out and calling her.

Got the tree cavaletti and red white blue set in side yard
set with plants and little solar lights yesterday.
Woo Hoo I'm sooooooooooo liking real plants!!;);):):):D:D

Its kind of making up for not being able to put and leave out
some of the pinwheels etc from the old house.
To be able to have lots of pots of real flowers Is sooooo much nicer.

I will pull some pinwheels out though for mixing things up when I play
with Rebecca and Libby.
Its really nice to have someone to finally play with.

I have to change up the flags a little bit on the tree cav side.
They are doing well holding their own in the wind but one
pink flower one needs to be replaced but all in all they are
surviving quite well.

On Sunday I went out for a gorgeous solo hack. It was much cooler than my previous ride, but I had a really bad headache so planned to just have a chilled one. He was absolutely great, didn't put a foot wrong at all. I tried to forget about the headache and did lots of trotting. Focused loads on my position in the seat in walk and on my diagonals in trot. I really, really enjoyed it despite not feeling great!

Total was 9.8km in 1hr15mins.

Overall totals 106.25km in 19hrs5mins plus 3 hours schooling.

The owner of my share is away this week so I've got a couple of extra rides to do - weather is due to be rubbish but I'll try and make the most of it!

I went out hacking late last night on my own. Weather held out for us and we managed a new route as it was nice and quiet on the Downs. Got a little canter in too - still working on that as I still find his canter so big and bouncy, but we're getting there!

Only downside was I forgot to zip up my pocket and as I got off, my phone fell out and the battery fell out, so I don't have exact timings or distance so this is an estimation but I think we travelled 11km in approx 90mins.

Totals 117.25km in 20hrs35mins plus 3 hours schooling.

Nice ride and play yesterday.
The weather was really nice.

I ended up trail riding with Virginia first.
I was on pins and needles riding the area Sonny did that 180 on me.
I did get off before it and walked to see if I saw anything around there that may have caused it.
He Is not reactive to bags etc so it really bothered me.
WE walked past and he never gave anything a second look.
So who knows what it may have been - one of those mystery's of horse ownership:rolleyes:.

Then I did play with Rebecca and Libby.
My husband mowed the round pens for me so we had a great place to play with the balls.
Libby is a total STAR!! She must have played in some aspet before - she is really taking to things.
It was very windy yesterday and she could have cared less about the flags flapping- if I get a pc of carrot I will
touch it NO PROBLEM.

She pushed the ball super with her nose we are working on her kicking It with her foot.
But OMG too cute wish I had video.
She pushed it to Rebecca and then Rebecca pushed it back then Libby back to her and on and on
IT WAS JUST TOO CUTE!!!

While we were playing they came down the road with sweepers.
It was funny how meticulous they were on a country road.
and at the old house a much more snobby ugh town when they came to sweep the road they really did a half a.... job.
I really never expected to even see a road sweeper here.

Next time we play I will have a pool noodle obstacle set up.
I am working on a tire pedistool as well but it has to be well filled with rocks and dirt to be nice and solid

I really need my husband to get my car wash obstacle and build me another teeter totter bridge.
I really miss them.

OMG the babies are still in the nest and just sooooooooo cute.

Odd weather today pop up thunder storms.
Went to Walmart and got bunch more clearance plants
so I added to my tree cavaletti and ones on that side of the house:D
I did add flags a the end to channel any horses over cavaletti not over my
plants:(.

I don't think I'd have a problem but it I play with people/horses
I need that added security for my plants
I had gone with one near each then changed it up to spread them out a bit more
so it looked a bit less like a cemetary!

I still have to do something with the cav that's further back with the yellow bee
banner flags

NO riding today.
Its going to be very hot humid and sticky ugh.

I was out planting some clearance perennials I got yesterday at 5am and it was already really horrid out!!:eek::(:mad:.

The storms did water rather well last nite though.:);):D

Monday heat and bad humitidy will go back down.
