Well Sox only has the one fly rug that was given to me a few years ago by a fellow livery. However the flies are a bugger and it would be nice to have another one :D Now Premier Equine do a few that I really like and they have a sale on too! :)
But I still think £75 quid is a lot of money for a fly rug!!
He has a really good fly mask aswell that comes down to his muzzle for the sun mainly and I am looking at them aswell. Some of them aren't long enough for what I need. PE do do them , along with a few others (shires) however there is almost too much choice!

I really rate cashel for their fly masks - field and ride on ones. But I have a saved search on eBay and every year he trashes one so I keep an eye out and always get a back up one - this year I lucked out and got a brand new one for £15 apparently the packaging has changed.
I'd have a look on there for something.

I'm sat here with 2 fly masks to stitch up to last until I get a new one, she has a 3Rd on that also needs stitching  all shires and they fit well (its the non elasticated version as that one just came off constantly) I think I'm going to try the Cashel one this year.

Fly rugs are driving me up the wall, I've probably brought (and then sold) 7 in the last year and none seem to fit right, I've got a weatherbeeta comfitec combo she's worn for about 3 weeks I'm about to advertise if you need a big 6'6" ;) her other weatherbeeta ripshield has rubbed her withers again in 2 days (another stitching job to add fleece to that tomorrow) and a master zing which is OK but not great. I think I'm going to order a shires sweet itch one next

ive also bought loads of different ones over the years including spending a fortune on PE and rambo ones,

the best ive bought by far is this £28 (!!!!) Gallop one!!

It's the cashel one sox has. It's being fab :) I have paid for a PE fly mask as it was in the sale :D saying that, I can always send it back and get another cashel one lol!

Ooooo jessy! May have to take you up on that offer ;)
I was also thinking about boots.. PE are selling very fast and getting their next load next week. Shires does so cheap once however I aren't sure how long they would last. The cashel boots sadly rub him. :( and the rambo ones that I do have... Their good.. but there a little expensive.

I have the cheap shires boots, they do the job but do slide down if she's in them 24/7, I just have to reset the daily. We've not had any rubs from them.

Hope valley had some great deals on fly rugs. Toby has a mark Todd fly rug that's lasted him at least 6 years. Very good quality. I got kezzie an amigo mio fly rug this year that's held up well so far. Louisa got a masta avante last year which was poop. Tight fitting and ripped on day 1. The jumpers rug I replaced it with this year also isn't much cop. Very short and very tight fitting. She's only 14hh and rug was 6ft3!! It's shredded after 4 days wear. PE look good but I've heard a few complaints about their declining quality. I got a free shires face mask with the new rugs I bought this year and that's been excellent. Fits well and no snags yet.

The shires sweet itch hoody arrived, it fits jess well and hasn't rubbed yet (only been on for 72 hours though), its pretty thick fabric and she did get a little sweaty in it on Saturday so I'll keep others on hand for really hot days, but other than that its doing well. It also has a head bit with ear holes, I'm going to make some light cotton ears and sew them in, she normally wears a mask full time as we have those tiny bugs that get right down in their ears and chew until they bleed, so hopefully she can have mask free time but retain ear protection with it :)
