My 16.3 ish has previously evented most her life now retired from eventing I've been debating taking her out to some hunter classes before the end of the season. Having never shown her, I'm not to sure if she's suitable for hunter classes. Any advice would be grateful. Hi

She's lovely Rhonis.

I would say she is more of a large Riding Horse type than a Hunter - they tend to be very chunky ;)

Having said that do you jump her? If so you could try Working Hunter as the horses in these classes seem to be more mixed in type.

I'm in Ireland so things might be a bit different in the U.K

Good luck with her whatever you decide :)

Thank you for the help guys, it is much appreciated. She is lovely but I have to say that, shame I can't say it about her attitude she's a bit of a diva

As she is in the photos I would say LW hunter, if you can build her muscle up she would tip over into MW but for unaffiliated they all go in together and she would fit as a hunter
