Looking for full-time job... Need help. Not o/t!

I decided to go to college and study floristry but am planning to drop out and go back into horses.

Im looking for a yard that can offer me experiance in the equestrian world and possibly a bit of training although this is not essential.

I have rode for 9 years and recently gave up to go to college. However i regret doing this because i want to go and work with horses. Ive decided to take a gap year from college to find work on a yard where i can gain a bit more experiance than i already have. I'm not looking for a job that offers me a spectacular amount of pay; just somewhere that can help me to gain experiance with horses in a business environment to help me fulfill my dreams.

I worked on a livery/riding school for 2 years and worked at a private stud yard for a year and have two share horses. I have 9 years riding experiance but am lookin to gain more hands on experiance with horses.

If anyone can help or point me in the right direction then please shout any advice is much appreciated

Yeah, echo yard and groom, also a well written up to date CV will help. However I suggest ringing the person you want to work for first rather than just firing off CVs to all and sundry. If you need help with CVs there are plenty of templates out there, good luck

Can't help with the jobs but as an employer who gets lots of CVs: please have someone check your letter of application and CV for grammar and spelling.

I disregard any CV that is poorly written or has spelling mistakes. I know that lots of people have issues with English, spelling and grammar, but your CV is your first chance to make an impression. When I get one with basic spelling mistakes I just think "Can't want the job that much if they couldn't be bothered to have someone else check it for them."

Try to get a couple of people to read over it for you and ask them to be critical - in a positive way. And use spell check.

Good luck.

What about contacting some of the big training/exam centres to see if they have any suitable vacancies?
