Back riding again

Just a post to firstly thank everyone who has been so kind and supportive before during and after my hip replacement op with advice and messages and good wishes.

And to let you all know that I stared riding again last week and have had a couple of rides in the menage and a couple of hacks out for an hour or so each time.

The new hip is better than the old one, swinging leg over the saddle has been fine, bit daunting the first time I did it, wondering if it would work or if it might hurt and no problem trotting around. Can't wait to have a little canter, but hubby is rightly keeping me from getting too enthusiastic too soon. And no aches and pains when I get off so far.

So hope that this news will cheer up anyone who might be having to have the op and happy to chat and pass on any advice I can.

And thanks to New Rider for providing this excellent forum,

Chaserider
