We offer pony trekking, horse riding, show jumping events, horse riding lessons, schooling for problem horses and livery stabling at our well equipped equestrian centre in Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland.
Our purpose built equestrian centre in idyllic countryside provides professional surroundings for a friendly team and fun horses and ponies. All horse riding abilities from complete novices through to advanced riders have something to gain from the equestrian services available at Longsheds.

Longsheds Equestrian nestles in idyllic countryside in the heart of rural Dumfries and Galloway, and yet is just two miles from the market town of Castle Douglas.
From Castle Douglas, follow the signs for Threave Gardens and when you get to the main entrance carry straight on along the public road past Kelton Kirk. At Mid Kelton farm turn right up the hill. We are on the left a mile up this road.

We have purpose built equestrian facilities a range of ponies and horses to suit all abilities and our qualified instructor Claire Mann on hand to help with jumping.The brand new outdoor arena even has a rubber surface for a soft landing for the highest jumps.The show jumps are to BSJA standard. We also have livery which Includes all feed and bedding as well as turning out during the day. We can also arrange for your horse to be exercised. Even if this is only to cover while you are on holiday, it's good to know that your best friend is in good hands
