Glen Jakes Riding School is a family run business , our friendly relaxed atmosphere makes you feel at ease, whilst our qualified helpful staff provide educational, informative, fun riding lessons for all.
We have established an outstanding reputation since 1990, the key to our success is that we provide a complete range of activities to suit all levels of riding abilities, form complete beginners to advanced level. Available for all ages , from 4 years (no upper age limit). Our flexible timetable enables you to ride at the time that suits you.

Glen Jakes Riding School is easy to find from all areas, just 10 mins from the M60 (Stockport East), 15 minutes by bus from Stockport town centre or 20 minutes walk from Hazel Grove train station. We're located on Bean Leach Road.
Coming from the main A626 Stockport to Marple Road, turn at the Wrights arm Pub, we are roughly 350 yards on the right hand side (if you reach the width restriction you have gone too far).
Coming from Commercial road off the A6, turn left opposite Hazel Grove DIY, upon going through the width restriction we are roughlt 75 yards on the left hand side. Keep a look out for the orange brick wall with the Glen Jakes Nursery and Riding School sign (it has the appearance of a private drive.
