Introduction
FIVE SAINTS is a family run riding centre with its 150 year old stone farm cottage & traditional farmyard nestled into the hillside and surrounded by its own 32 acres of farmland.
The location of the farm makes it an ideal base for your holiday. If you want to just sit back, relax and enjoy the views, it doesn't get much better than this.

Unaccompanied Childrens Holidays
Week holidays in school summer break, age 10-18 years. Includes Picnic day rides, Lessons - dressage and jumping, Stable Management, Show Day with rosettes, certificates and prizes.
We are situated at the start of the CAMBRIAN MOUNTAINS in the rural county of CARMARTHENSHIRE.
We will guide you down the quiet country lanes of the COTHI VALLEY, across streams, through forests and up onto the mountain moors of the MYNYDD MALLAEN where the views are spectacular.
Our aim is to provide SAFE and ENJOYABLE riding in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We go out in small informal groups tailoring the rides to your own requirements and accompanied by an experienced guide. Approximately 6-8 horses go out at a time so you get personal attention and plenty of tips on how to better your riding as you go along (if necessary).
For the more experienced rider there are plenty of opportunities for a good canter. All our rides are tailored to the standard of the riders, and every endeavour is taken to ensure that riders of similar ability go out together.
Dependant on availability, adult and family groups are catered for seperately. Please advise at time of booking any preferences.
Tied up for a Picnic stop in a secluded forest & ruined village.
The Accommodation
ACCOMMODATION - All our rooms are en-suite with Colour TV & Tea/Coffee making facilities. You have your own entrance and private garden so you can come and go as you please. Evening Meals, Lunch Snacks, Cream Teas can be purchased in our cottage tea room, or eat on our picnic tables on the lawn. Can be included in your holiday package.
FARM PRODUCE - Please ask for details of of WELSH LAMB & PRIME WELSH BEEF all packed and frozen ready to go into your freezer. Fresh meat is available by ordering in advance at certain times of the year. Also available FREE RANGE EGGS.
The WALKING country here is excellent too, if you like going up hills! The Views are so spectacular it is well worth the effort. We will gladly point you in the right direction and prepare a picnic lunch for you to take along.
BIRD WATCHING is a must if you'd like to see the Buzzards soaring above our top fields. The native Red Kite is a regular visitor, this area being one of the last habitats of this beautiful bird. You'll always see plenty of swallows that nest in our barn, as well as chaffinches, spotted flycatchers, pied wagtails, wrens and robins in the yard. Herons and jays can be found near the river and forest nearby. The RSPB centre at Rhandirmwyn is a short drive away.
FISHING - We have the Cothi River a stones throw away and you can obtain a license from the local pub or we can arrange this for you at time of booking. Alternatively there is coarse and trout fishing at Spring Water Lakes (5 miles away).
